October Book Review

Title: Flawless

Author: Elsie Silver

Genre: Romance

Tropes: Rivals (ish) to lovers, cowboy romance, found family, he falls first, one bed, agency/client

Fav Character: Rhett

Least Fav Character: Rob or Mariana

Fav Quote: “I think people mistake you being in a bad mood when you’re just overwhelmed. I think you needed to lie here for a few minutes with no one needing you. I think you’re overstimulated and even the best of us require some time to collect ourselves.”

Feelings: I have a new appreciation for cowboys!

How did I Read: Ebook (it is on KU)

Is it a standalone or part of a series: It is book one of five in the Chestnut Spring series! Elsie has two other series that are connected to this one as well.

Overall Rating: 4.75/5 (rating went slightly down after I read book two and four)

Spice Rating: 3.5/5 (only a couple of open door scenes but pretty descriptive)

Would I Recommend: Yes, especially if you love cowboys!

Final Thoughts: I was worried that the cowboys would not do it for me but I am happy to report that I was wrong, very very wrong. Books Two and Four were my favorites of the series! I enjoyed the variety of characters in this series so that everyone can relate to someone. I am sad to learn that Harvey Eaton does not get his own book though.
